Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in admissions and recruitment, preferably in an online higher education setting.
  • Strong understanding of graduate education and the needs of adult learners.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Experience with Slate CRM systems and admissions software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive admissions and recruitment strategies in alignment with the goals and mission of Brandeis Online.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Enrollment and Marketing to establish enrollment targets, plan and contribute to the overall growth of the online programs.
  • Manage the admissions review process, ensuring timely and thorough evaluation of applications and making admissions decisions.
  • Collaborate with faculty and program directors to assess applicant qualifications and fit with program offerings.
  • Provide guidance and support to prospective students throughout the admissions process, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Conduct information sessions, webinars, and one-on-one meetings to assist prospective students and corporate partners in understanding program offerings and admission requirements.
  • Create a yearly admissions operations calendar in collaboration with the Director of Enrollment and Marketing.
  • Make updates to the applications, forms, and communications.
  • Write and design email communications.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and train external partners.
  • Create and execute effective recruitment plans to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates and corporate partners.
  • Represent Brandeis at recruitment events and conferences, both on and off-campus, fostering relationships with prospective students, alumni, and industry partners.
  • Nurture both existing and prospective corporate partners.
  • Work closely with corporate partners to understand their talent needs and preferences.
  • Organize employer-focused events, such as industry-specific networking sessions, workshops, and on-site visits, to strengthen connections between the university and corporate entities.
  • Negotiate and renew existing and new partnership agreements with employers.
  • Identify, propose, implement and manage enrollment and recruiting initiatives to support growth and needs.
  • Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on admissions trends, applicant demographics, and other key metrics.
  • Collaborate with corporate partners to gather feedback on the effectiveness of the programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with various departments within Brandeis, including marketing, the registrar, IT, and student services, to ensure seamless coordination in achieving enrollment goals and admissions processes.
  • Collaborate with university-wide admissions and corporate partnership initiatives and share best practices with colleagues.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices in admissions, and changes in educational policies that may impact the recruitment process.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills in admissions and recruitment.
