Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A two-year degree in electrical construction, construction management, a similar discipline, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word computer skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • The ability to meet daily deadlines is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required.
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • The position requires working at an industrial job site with exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and noise, and may require closed-toe shoes, a hard hat, and eye protection.
  • The position requires the ability to sit frequently and occasionally kneel, reach, stoop, crouch, or crawl.
  • The position requires the ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
  • The position may occasionally require lifting up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers with the administration, planning, and installation of large, intricate electrical construction projects.
  • Support the entire project lifecycle, including procurement, engineering, subcontracting, and installation.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships to support client satisfaction and the company’s industry reputation.
  • Help keep projects economically on track while maintaining quality workmanship.
  • Prepare, process, and manage project documentation, including files, schedules, reports, and billing.
  • Complete project submittals and close-outs.
  • Handle varied project tasks and responsibilities to broaden capabilities and contribute to team success.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
  • Experience reading drawings and blueprints and interpreting specifications.
  • Experience with Bluebeam and computer-aided design (CAD).
