Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from a college or technical school in electronics, communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
  • SBE certification is required.
  • At least 3 years of professional project management experience within the broadcast construction or telecommunications industry is required.
  • Experience with direct responsibility for procurement, project plan origination, timeline administration, and project lifecycle management is required.
  • Successful project management and reporting experience for complex, multi-phase construction projects is required.
  • The ability to lead complex, multi-phase construction projects concurrently is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of engineering equipment used in broadcast builds, including antennas, filters, coax, combiners, and transmitters, is required.
  • Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Siterra, is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet navigation, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Signal Expansion, Site Development, and Engineering Operations teams in advancing construction projects from planning through on-site build and licensing.
  • Communicate with landlords and zoning agencies to collect, review, and submit necessary documentation for site development projects.
  • Secure zoning clearance and building permits directly or by coordinating third-party Zoning and Permitting firms.
  • Manage landlord relationships to obtain critical information for signal construction or modification, applying discretion and professional judgment.
  • Oversee and support the build process using computer systems and project tools.
  • Independently manage concurrent construction projects while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Use internal project management systems and tools to maintain accurate project files and status updates.
  • Track and process project documentation while liaising with contractors, engineers, and external agencies.
  • Communicate project requirements and updates with internal and contract engineers across various regions.
  • Request and evaluate vendor quotes for services, equipment, and labor, making recommendations based on professional assessment and budget alignment.
  • Review and validate project plans while coordinating equipment procurement and construction resources.
  • Conduct plan-check reviews and provide compliance feedback on contractor bids according to K-LOVE and Federal Communications Commission requirements.
  • Assess site readiness, develop build schedules, and coordinate utility installations, including electrical, gas, and internet.

K-LOVE appoints Evan Masyr as new Chief Financial Officer. K-LOVE, Inc., the parent organization of leading Christian radio networks K-LOVE and Air1, announces the appointment of Evan Masyr as the Ministry's Chief Financial Officer. Masyr will lead the accounting, finance and tax departments while serving on the Ministry Leadership Team. He spent the last 26 1/2 years at Salem Media Group and held the position of CFO for 19 years. Prior to that, he worked for the global accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers for nearly seven years. "It is a tremendous blessing and a calling to join K-LOVE and serve a ministry that shares the hope of Jesus Christ with listeners across the country and around the world," says Evan Masyr. "I look forward to the opportunity to work alongside the outstanding leadership team and dedicated employees, continuing to advance K-LOVE's mission of inspiring people to move closer to Jesus. K-LOVE hires Brian Sipe as Vice President of Live Events. K-LOVE, Inc., the parent organization of leading Christian radio networks K-LOVE and Air1, announces the hiring of experienced venue executive Brian Sipe as the new Vice President of Live Events. Most recently, Sipe served as the General Manager of the Oak View Group managed Central Bank Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He has also worked in booking at Rupp Arena and has been the General Manager at venues throughout Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Sipe comes with an array of award accolades including his venues getting three Academy of Country Music(R) Venue of the Year nominations.
