Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in an advisory role within supply chain or manufacturing planning domains
  • Must have experience with at least one manufacturing sub-vertical: Consumer industries, Industrial, Life Sciences or Hi-Tech
  • Prior presales experience highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing planning, processes, procedures and best practices
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and cloud technologies
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to guide an audience through clear, concise communication techniques
  • Ability to collaboratively work with customers and internal team members to achieve desired goals and objectives
  • Effective public speaking skills with the ability to control an audience convey necessary concepts and overcome objections
  • Flexible team player with the desire to pursue personal and team improvement
  • Familiarity with Blue Yonder or similar advanced supply chain solutions and technologies
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by offering strategic insights and practical Blue Yonder solutions that meet business requirements
  • Partner with sales team to present additional solutions to current customers to solve their business needs
  • Become directly involved with potential customers via proposal requests or actively prospect for new business opportunities
  • Coordinate with various Blue Yonder resources and departments to secure and present appropriate proposal information to prospective and existing clients
  • Communicate customer requirements to New Product Development/Product Management Group
  • Participate and lead business discovery sessions and understand the pain points, problem statements, value leakage and root-cause diagnosis
  • Demonstrate how the proposed solution, ways of working, planning & execution rhythm can add substantial value in replacing the client’s current business environment. Articulates and demonstrates the value proposition of Blue Yonder solutions and multiple product sets to the prospective client
  • Actively contribute in shaping the activities of the assigned Supply Chain Advisor, execute the life cycle of the customer convincing process, and put Blue Yonder in a position to earn the customer's business
  • Communicate and coordinate the transition meeting with the implementation team
  • Continuously monitor industry trends to keep Blue Yonder solutions at the forefront of innovation
