Job Title:    Software Engineer

Job Location:       Berwyn, PA

Major Responsibilities: Design, build, test and maintain efficient, reusable, service/worker code. Make strategic technical decisions related to new products and functionalities. Develop Software in an SOA/microservices environment using Java. Develop application security and security related technologies such as authentication and authorization; encryption and decryption. Develop versioned, componentized SOA based RESTFul APIs. Develop partner integration microservices. Mentor junior engineers. Telecommuting allowed.

Job Requirements: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related and 5 years of work experience in Java application development. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1). J2EE using Spring framework; (2). Microservice application design & performance tuning; (3). Database design & performance tuning; (4). API design & third-party integration; and (5). Build generation and management using Jenkins or equivalent.
