Requirements
  • A completed technical degree in process engineering, biotechnology, plant and mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a project leader for EPCM and/or EPC projects in pharmaceutical or biotech design, engineering, or construction.
  • Sound experience implementing CAPEX projects, including refurbishment, brownfield, and greenfield projects.
  • A strong understanding of commercial and economic relationships.
  • Excellent team-leadership and organizational skills, combined with pragmatism and determination.
  • German language proficiency at B2 level and English language proficiency at C1 level.
  • A high willingness to travel, primarily within the DACH region and Europe.
Responsibilities
  • Take overall responsibility for the successful realization of large projects in the DACH region and across Europe.
  • Ensure compliance with quality requirements, budget, and schedule.
  • Manage customers within projects and hold overarching key-account responsibility to build long-term partnerships.
  • Develop projects, including cost estimation, risk analysis, and schedule planning.
  • Establish and execute the necessary project processes.
  • Lead and coordinate the project team and all participating stakeholders.
  • Prepare the project execution plan and report to the local leadership team.
  • Communicate internally and externally at all levels.
  • Lead tender negotiations with customers, planning partners, suppliers, and executing companies.
  • Hold project-level responsibility for occupational safety and health and collaborate with regional EHS management.
