Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, in purchasing, contracting, or procurement, or other relevant business experience
  • Proficiency and willingness to work with technology related business tools
  • Experience in implementing legal related technology systems or tools a plus
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
  • Ability to take direction and work effectively independently and within a matrix, team-oriented environment
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment

Responsibilities
  • Monitor contracting management tool (Ironclad) and ticketing tool (ServiceNow) for incoming requests
  • Assist the Legal Team respond to requests on a timely basis, including uploading documents to the software tool and reviewing documents for compliance with the firm’s standards
  • Coordinate running reports from the contracting software tool as needed or requested
  • Help review, revise, and coordinate global engagement documents such as confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, engagement letters, and non-reliance letters within the contracting software tool
  • Coordinate communication with and between our firm’s clients, internal stakeholders, in-house counsel, outside professionals and service providers
  • Assist the Legal Operations Manager in identifying and implementing new legal department tools to streamline new or existing practices, as well as managing design, rollout, and training for new systems
  • Assist the Legal Operations Manager with budget matters and optimizing workflows within the legal department
  • Coordinate, track, and report on Risk Management Committee (RMC) activities and approvals; including preparing materials for monthly meetings, initiating requests for RMC approvals via email, scheduling ad hoc RMC calls and providing RMC support for the Chief Legal Officer and co-Chair of the RMC
  • Respond quickly to requests for information, documents, policies, templates, instructions
