Junior Field Service Technician: Apprenticeship - Remote

DISHER is currently partnering with a world leader in CNC machine manufacturing to fill their Junior Field Service Engineer role. In this role, you will receive extensive training to develop an understanding of the technical machine product lines. You’ll gain hands on experience with installation, mechanical/electrical systems and project completion while going through an apprenticeship program.

What you will get to do:

Develop a deep understanding of the machine product lines
Gain hands-on technical support experience by troubleshooting a variety of issues
Advance problem-solving experience and mechanical/electrical knowledge by assisting with machines that are malfunctioning
Install and repair components and mechanical/electrical systems associated with machinery
Recommend modifications and improvements to machines, equipment, and processes
Travel to various client sites and collaborate with customers on technical machine issues

Demonstrated mechanical and electrical experience
Technical aptitude in mechanical and electrical
Ability to eventually work independently and a hands-on worker that is comfortable being on the shop floor
Strong communication skills and confidence for customer interactions that include demonstrating technical troubleshooting skills

Ability to travel
