.net API Developer Grade – G4 – G5 Job Description: 1. Responsible for developing APIs for reinsurance placements and other processes with external parties. The Sr. API developer will be responsible for designing and building Enterprise APIs to grow and support digital footprint. 2. Lead the development of new application components using the Microsoft technology stack - You will also be in charge of implementation, documentation, and integration of a variety of software platforms through the REST API framework 3. Create technical specifications based on functional requirements and industry based best practices. Required Qualifications • Good understanding of and experience in working on Microsoft Azure (IAAS) • 6 to 8 years as a ASP.Net Core programmer • Ability to work with Architect in designing application architecture • Extensive experience on .NET (especially Web APIs, ORM, etc.) • Experience developing applications using Azure PaaS services including Azure Insights, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, Azure Logic App, Azure Service Bus, Azure AKS, Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Storage • Experience with database technologies and SQL proficient • Ability to understand and analyze existing applications and provide guidance on major enhancements. • Experience leading a team of developers and QAs. • Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide resolution. • Help team members to resolve technical issues. • Experience into story point estimation. • Experience into Agile project development • 4+ years demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in the following development methodologies: o Object oriented development o Component based development o Design patterns
