Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Own the overall system architecture, including components and interfaces.
  • Support integration of the company's thrusters onto a spacecraft.
  • Meet program or project objectives.
  • Support technical business development activities.
  • Develop appropriate documentation, including interface control documents and user guides.
  • Identify and flow up technological constraints.
  • Interface with stakeholders to develop product requirements, accounting for allocation flow-down and capability flow-up.
  • Lead multidisciplinary technical teams for product development and characterization, producing well-defined and documented systems and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain key technical documentation, including interface definitions and theory of operations.
  • Serve as a key interface to horizontally integrated detailed-design teams with specialized skill sets.
  • Serve as the interface to program or project management, including development and maintenance of salient schedule milestones.
  • Plan, evaluate, and document product or component test campaigns for space and application suitability with the test engineering team.
  • Prepare documentation with production and configuration management teams to enable development and engineering-level builds through initial low-rate production.

  • Experience designing and analyzing space systems.
  • Previous experience developing flight or ground systems for space.
  • Experience with space system test sequences, including acceptance and qualification testing.
  • Experience with spacecraft or satellite mission planning and/or operations.
  • Electric or chemical space propulsion experience.
