Responsibilities and Duties
- Partner with all key teams in the development and execution of operational strategies aligned with the sourcing operation and overall business strategy.
- Ensure system & tools that are utilized by various teams are well integrated and optimized for the processes, reporting and functionality that make us efficient and effective.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Onboard and ramp up new hires
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Data Analysis: Conduct research and deep dive into business data, identifying trends and patterns to provide insights that will help guide decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimized business models.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, user stories, and other documentation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the liaison between the business and technical teams, facilitating meetings, presentations, and communication to ensure all parties are aligned.
- Project Support: Work with project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget by managing risk, reporting progress, and analyzing impacts.
- Testing & Validation: Assist with system testing, validation of new features, and ensuring that the solutions meet the business needs and are free from defects.
- Reporting: Develop and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports using data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Required Abilities and Skills
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in operational systems and tools, such as ERP systems, CRM software, workflow automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within specified timelines and budgets
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements for system implementation, data management, and security.
- Energy and Sustainability industry experience preferred.
- Outstanding problem-solving, strategic, and analytical skills combined with an excellent eye for process improvement toward clear business outcomes.

- Ability to build effective relationships, listen, communicate, influence, and collaborate cross-team at all organizational levels.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in operations, process improvement, finance, and operational analysis project management roles, focusing on optimizing processes and driving exceptional customer experiences.
- Experience with system implementation and integration, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Nice to haves:
- Master of Business Administration or another graduate-level business degree
- Experience with building energy systems (e.g., HVAC, Lighting, solar, electric vehicle charging, etc) is preferred
- Experience within startups
- Energy and Sustainability industry experience preferred
- Proficient in Tableau Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
- Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, or similar platforms.
