We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.

Analytical Laboratory Technician

As a Laboratory Technician at Redwood, you will have the opportunity to make the world a better place by assist to a wide variety of analytical /metallurgical processes across the Company.

Schedule: All shifts available.Hours are 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am

Responsibilities will include:
Under close supervision, performs routine chemical and/or metallurgical analytical tasks at the assigned site.

May collect samples which could include collection from processes or trucks in some locations.
Prepare samples for analysis using established tests and techniques.
Assists with/performs routine chemical and/or metallurgical analysis and reporting.
Maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
Perform other duties as required.

Desired Qualifications:

Demonstrated basic knowledge of math, chemistry and/or computer skills appropriate to the assignment.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Strong written and verbal communication
A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!

Associates or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience with sample preparation and analysis.
Experience with chemical handling and laboratory hazards.
Ability to follow detailed, technical instructions.
Organization and documentation skills.
Proficient using MS Office, including Excel spreadsheets and Word documentation.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule.

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
