  • Ability to follow detailed, technical instructions
  • Organization and documentation skills
  • Proficient using MS Office, including Excel spreadsheets and Word documentation
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule
  • May collect samples which could include collection from processes or trucks in some locations
  • Prepare samples for analysis using established tests and techniques
  • Assists with/performs routine chemical and/or metallurgical analysis and reporting
  • Maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment
  • Perform other duties as required

  • Demonstrated basic knowledge of math, chemistry and/or computer skills appropriate to the assignment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • Strong written and verbal communication
