ORGANIZATION SUMMARY
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church. World Relief is looking for a passionate Fundraising Coordinator to help advance our mission of empowering vulnerable communities by leading a donor-centered annual giving strategy. In this role, you’ll inspire individuals, churches, foundations, and businesses to join us in transforming lives through partnership and support of World Relief Baltimore’s impactful programs. Together, we can create lasting change and build flourishing communities.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Fundraising Efforts to Support World Relief Baltimore
- Implement a fundraising plan covering all stages of donor relations: Identification, Qualification, Cultivation, Solicitation, and Stewardship.
- Execute an Annual Campaign in partnership with office leadership to raise essential funds.
- Facilitate one-on-one connections between the Office Director and key donors for personalized engagement.
- Develop and Share Stories of Impact
- Create and share compelling stories that inspire deeper involvement from volunteers, donors, and church partners.
- Work with the Marketing Team to amplify stories across digital and in-person channels, reaching new audiences.
- Collaborate with Marketing for Lead Generation
- Align with Marketing to implement brand amplification strategies, including digital lead generation and in-person outreach.
- Leverage email drip campaigns to nurture leads and drive donations.
- Track and analyze lead generation efforts to improve donor acquisition and engagement.
- Engage Churches and Communities
- Partner with the Church and Community Engagement team to integrate giving into outreach efforts.
- Promote and support events to increase donor engagement and deepen church partnerships.
- Plan and Execute Fundraising Events
- Coordinate and assist with fundraising events, ensuring they inspire giving and increase awareness.
- Collaborate on event promotion to drive attendance and engagement.
- Steward Donor and Funder Relationships
- Manage private funder relationships, including event participation, site visits, and ongoing communication.
- Oversee grant applications and reporting, working with Strategic Engagement Staff to secure and maintain funding.
- Other responsibilities as needed to further fundraising goals and support the mission of World Relief Baltimore.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Mature and personal Christian faith
- Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
- Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
- Undergraduate degree or combination of related education and experience
- 3 years of related professional work, at least one year in the nonprofit sector
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp) for donor engagement.
- Experience with social media tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn) for campaign management.
- Experience with CRM software (Raiser’s Edge NXT, MS Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot, others)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for communication and reporting.
- Excellent writing skills to craft compelling, audience-driven messages.
- Must have access to reliable transportation and ability to travel to meetings or events

- Undergraduate degree or combination of related education and experience
- 3 years of related professional work, at least one year in the nonprofit sector
