Requirements
  • 4+ years' experience in a technical design environment
  • Diploma or degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience
  • Strong sewing, building, and pattern making skills
  • Previous pattern making experience, particularly CAD experience with Gerber
  • Comfortable using Clo3d
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator
  • Proactive in problem-solving
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Balanced autonomy and collaboration
  • Inspires breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • Passion for outdoor activities
  • Knowledge of Arc’teryx products
Responsibilities
  • Contributing to product design through sketching, patterning, and concept prototyping
  • Producing production-level garments and supporting documentation
  • Collaborating with Designers, Pattern Makers, and Product Developers
  • Building concept prototypes for testing and validation
  • Testing materials for construction techniques
  • Supporting in the creation of field and wear test samples
  • Assisting in responding to problems
  • Supporting onboarding and training of new hires
