Requirements
- Have demonstrable experience in delivering infrastructure and/or development projects
- Possess a robust understanding of contracting and valuation principles
- Be able to effectively communicate and work within multi-disciplinary project teams, establish sound relationships, and work efficiently and courteously with stakeholders
- Have at least a working knowledge of renewable energy value drivers and development structures
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the site permitting efforts and approval processes for both utility-scale and distributed-scale electric generation projects
- Manage the site permitting efforts and approval processes for utility-scale electric generation projects
- Advance the acquisition of greenfield and brownfield sites, which includes negotiating landowner leases, optioning, and/or purchasing
- Represent LE at permitting meetings/public hearings and work with regulators, utilities, and other stakeholders throughout the project development process
- Manage the preparation and delivery of permitting documentation
- Interpret technical engineering and environmental reports and studies to determine project impact and relevance toward application requirements
- Provide management with reports on project status and changes to regulations
- Procure and manage the necessary consultants and vendors to advance initiatives
