- Completed or currently enrolled in Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, an Associate Degree in Veterinary Nursing, or a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Nursing.
- Ability to handle animals with gentleness and confidence.
- Adaptability and enthusiasm.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Assist veterinary nurses and veterinarians as required.
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients under the guidance of the ECC team.
- Administer medications as directed by the ECC team.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of hospital facilities.
- Handle and restrain animals with care and compassion.
- Clean and reset animal cages and clean patient bowls.
- Walk, feed, and offer water to patients under nurse instruction.
- Restock disposables such as needles and syringes, as well as pharmacy medications.
- Maintain cleanliness of hospital areas throughout the day and evening as required, including floors in treatment, intensive care unit, and ward spaces.
- Maintain daily laundry upkeep.
- Previous experience in the animal care industry.
