  • Administering and supporting Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID, and Intune.
  • Administering and supporting Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, and business networking fundamentals.
  • Supporting production virtualization environments such as VMware or Proxmox.
  • Monitoring system health, performance, backups, patching, endpoint protection, and security compliance.
  • Creating, maintaining, testing, and documenting PowerShell scripts for automation, endpoint management, software deployment, reporting, and systems administration.
  • Providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support and independently diagnosing and resolving complex issues involving Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, servers, virtualization, endpoints, and line-of-business applications.
  • Provisioning and deploying workstations, user accounts, applications, mobile devices, and other IT resources.
  • Managing IT inventory and coordinating equipment repair, replacement, and lifecycle activities.
  • Supporting switching, routing, Wi-Fi access points, conferencing equipment, and other core technologies.
  • Supporting server upgrades, system migrations, disaster recovery planning, office technology projects, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Supporting engineering and business applications and coordinating with vendors or service providers.
  • Creating and maintaining SOPs, technical documentation, system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and employee training materials.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reliability, security, and efficiency through automation, standardization, and process improvement.
  • Taking ownership of issues and projects from initial assessment through resolution and documentation.
  • Working independently, escalating risks appropriately, and collaborating with IT colleagues across multiple locations.
  • Participating in occasional after-hours maintenance and traveling to other company offices as business needs require.
  • Having an Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Networking, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Having three or more years of experience in technical support, systems administration, infrastructure support, or a related IT role.
  • Having strong customer service, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Serving as the primary IT resource and onsite IT contact for an assigned office.
  • Providing hands-on end-user and infrastructure support across multiple offices.
  • Supporting and contributing to the company-wide safety culture by following established safety standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Communicating technical concepts clearly and professionally to technical and non-technical employees, vendors, and leadership.
  • Traveling occasionally to company offices for onsite technical support, equipment deployment, and project assistance.
  • Participating in infrastructure administration, automation, and direct end-user support.
  • Maintaining a professional, service-oriented approach while supporting employees at all technical skill levels.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on VMware administration experience and familiarity with migration planning or transition to Proxmox.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Experience with PowerShell automation for software installation, endpoint remediation, Microsoft 365 administration, inventory, and reporting.
  • Experience with backup systems, disaster recovery, vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, cybersecurity best practices, and multifactor authentication.
  • Experience supporting engineering software such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley products, Bluebeam, ETAP, or EMTP.
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring and management tools, help desk or IT service management platforms, and remote access utilities.
  • Experience creating SOPs, technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and end-user training materials.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Server+, Microsoft AZ-900, MS-900, SC-900, VMware VCP, or comparable credentials.
  • Curiosity, sound judgment, accountability, and willingness to learn new technologies.
