Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience as Technical Product Manager, Technical Marketing Engineer or Professional Services Engineer in complex Security and Network solution deployments
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with customers in a technical role
  • Technical expertise with large scale deployments of Network and Security products is highly desirable
  • Good understanding of ZTNA and familiarity with Zscaler Private Access product
  • Deep understanding of Internet and Network protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, SSL etc. is mandatory
  • Deep understanding of Proxies, Firewall, VPN based security stack is highly desirable
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to customers
  • Ability to break down complex tasks into simple actionable steps with well defined and measurable outcomes is needed
  • Hands on expertise with one of the public cloud infrastructure (ex. AWS, Azure etc.) is desirable
  • Hands on experience on Linux based deployments
  • Understanding of identity systems and protocols (ex. ADFS, SAML, SCIM etc.) is desirable
  • Write blog posts and papers related to technical analysis and creating technical collateral
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales Enablement to roll out technical trainings for technical sales as well as support organization
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with customers to deploy and operationalize ZPA Private Service Edges
  • Help field teams, deployment teams(PS) and product management with complex product setups and deployments
  • Act as a customer advocate with product and engineering teams by providing feedback and driving support for niche use cases
  • Deliver quality product demonstrations to customers, analysts and execs
  • Drive customer awareness of ZPA Private Service Edges to accelerate adoption and materialize value from the product
  • Enable Helpdesk, ServiceDesk, Security and Networking personnel by delivering hands-on technical sessions and ZPA Private Service Edge best practice recommendations
  • Join customer QBRs for demonstrating the value and impact of ZPA Private Service Edges to an organization
  • Liaise with Customer Success and Sales team to engage with customers and prospects for showcasing value in ZPA Private Service Edges during and after deployments
  • Lead projects with and without a dedicated project manager
  • Participate and tag team with functional PM in supporting customer engagements, Pre-sales and Post-sales support work, perform architecture trade off analysis, document proposed product solution. You will work directly with our customers on these projects and will be responsible for ensuring successful deployment of identified solutions
  • Work with product manager on validating and documenting deployment instructions and any related technology integrations
