  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to acquire and maintain TWIC certification
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance, inspections, and repairs
  • Must maintain a valid NYS Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
  • Working knowledge of construction and handyman repair techniques
  • Experience in electrical, plumbing, heating/air conditioning, and associated equipment
  • Ability to push or carry objects
  • Experience with hand and power tools in construction trades
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word and Outlook
  • Experience with two-way radios and iPhone
  • New York City residence required within 180 days of hire
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of EDC properties
  • Assist in managing on-site EDC Field Staff and contracted workers
  • Implement systematic cleaning program and supply management
  • Partner with EDC Facility Director for inspections and work orders
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners
  • Provide after-hour support for contractor escort and site visits
  • Coordinate snow removal logistics during snow events
  • Develop training program for direct report
  • Other duties as assigned
