Requirements
  • 2+ years of operational experience working with assets and approvals in the licensing or entertainment field
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience communicating with partners from different cultural backgrounds, particularly Japanese business culture
  • Experience working with globally distributed partners (external and internal) around process improvement.
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards
  • Strong interest in anime and Japanese pop culture is a huge plus
  • Japanese fluency is preferred.
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or marketing
Responsibilities
  • manage the anime approval submission process for the Marketing organization
  • participate in the planning process for SVOD and theatrical promotions
  • support the Brand Managers in building meaningful relationships with Japanese, Chinese and Korean creators and licensors
  • lead the approval process for our titles
  • ensure the impact and delivery of the company goals in both mature and developing markets
  • communicate and guide creators and licensors throughout the approval process
