We are seeking a meticulous and communicative Travel Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reaching out to claimants and providers to gather essential information related to travel claims. Using your sharp attention to detail and independent judgment, you will meticulously assess and enter data into our database system for processing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, adeptness in independent decision-making, and proficiency in database management.

Your Impact:

• Analyze and research claim issues of moderate to complex difficulty.  Review and apply policy provisions in processing the claims.
• Verifying compensability, submitting for bill review and re-pricing (if required); diary process for follow up and closure
• Makes contacts, investigates questionable losses, documents facts surrounding the incident, include decision regarding liability/compensability, as well as action plan
• Identifies and pursues fraudulent claims
• Works directly with other Claim Administrators and Customer Service Agents to assure mail is addressed, bills are paid and questions are answered quickly and appropriately
• Uses strong diary system to ensure timely follow up and monitors treatment, receipt of bills or reserve adequacy, negotiation of settlement, payment, and closure

Successful Candidate Will Have:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 year insurance claims experience preferred but not required
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office programs
• Problem/issue resolution capability
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as depreciation and interest
• Sound administrative and organizational skills

At One80 Intermediaries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base hourly pay range for this position is between $17.00 - $19.20 plus discretionary bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
