Physician Assistant Supervisor - Internal Medicine - Full Time Days

We’re seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant Supervisor to play a key role in shaping the future of behavioral health care. This pivotal position blends direct patient care with leadership responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact across our Psychiatry service line.

In this role, you will:

• Perform history and physical examinations. Establishes a presumptive diagnosis

• Performs a general work-up including the ordering of appropriate laboratory studies.

• Lead and support Physician Assistants through:

  • Training and onboarding

  • Scheduling and coverage coordination

  • Staff development and mentorship

• Partner with the Service Chief and attending physicians to drive departmental initiatives focused on:

  • Quality improvement

  • Patient experience

  • Operational efficiency

This position is a day shift position, Monday - Friday.

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's or master's Degree in physician assistant studies

• Current NYS licensure

• NCCPA certification

• DEA certification

• Minimum 5 years of related previous experience

• BCLS Certification

Salary Range:

$180,000-$216,000/Annual
