- At least 3 years of injection molding processing experience is required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills are required.
- Experience with a variety of presses in the 50–700+ ton range is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand process sheets and work instructions.
- Knowledge of material behavior and processing windows.
- Ability to work independently on off shifts.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Set up, start up, and troubleshoot injection molding machines and processes.
- Establish and maintain robust, repeatable processes.
- Monitor part quality and make process adjustments as needed.
- Optimize cycle times while maintaining quality standards.
- Work with materials including polypropylene, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, high-density polyethylene, nylon, and engineered resins.
- Identify and resolve molding defects such as warp, sink, burn, and short shots.
- Perform mold changes and assist with preventive maintenance.
- Document and update process parameters and setup sheets.
- Collaborate with supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.
- Experience with scientific molding principles.
