  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years’ progressive experience operating drills, lathes, milling machines, and CNC equipment.
  • Ability to read BOMs and work according to blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experienced with the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication equipment.
  • Strong understanding of precision measurement tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
  • CNC machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, saws, or grinders.
  • Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
  • Support the activities of operations by setting up, adjusting, and operating a variety of machines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Support the overall manufacturing process as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • A 2-year trade certificate in machining is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment is mandatory.
  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Welding certifications (MIG, ARC, gas welding) are highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working with extruder gearboxes, industrial machinery, or refurbishment projects.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.

Hillenbrand secures $2.73B financing with new credit facilities and senior notes

Hillenbrand has completed a comprehensive refinancing tied to a merger, establishing new secured credit facilities whilst terminating previous lending arrangements. The company entered into a $1.8 billion first-lien term loan and a $430 million multi-currency revolver with Bank of America as agent, alongside a $350 million multi-currency letter of credit facility with Banco Santander. Hillenbrand also issued $500 million of 7.125% senior secured notes due 2033, with guarantees and security added later. Supplemental indentures for the company's 2031 and 2029 notes added subsidiary guarantees and first-priority liens. Concurrently, Hillenbrand repaid and terminated its 2025 credit agreement with JPMorgan and its 2022 syndicated facility with Commerzbank.

Hillenbrand, Inc. announced an agreement to be acquired by Lone Star Funds for $32.00 per share, valuing the deal at approximately $3.8 billion. This represents a 37% premium over Hillenbrand's closing share price on August 12, 2025. The transaction, expected to close by Q1 2026, will make Hillenbrand a privately held company.
