Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a program planner/scheduler
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, management, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 1 years of experience working with MS Project
  • Must have excellent communication skills to be able to pass the necessary information to both customers and employees
  • Possess an intermediate level of understanding of integrated schedules and industry standards as well as working knowledge of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) artifacts such as: Control Account Plans (CAP), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structures (OBS), Basis of Estimates (BOE), EVM, and JIRA
  • Must be able to work in a team environment cordially and effectively, as well as having the ability to lead a team if required to
  • Must be able to make use of different database programs, especially Microsoft Excel
  • 8+ years of experience as a program planner/scheduler (for Level 4)
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with MS Project (for Level 4)
  • Must possess at least a basic knowledge of project/program management activities (for Level 4)
  • PMP Certification (preferred)
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives and ensure program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.
  • Implements scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry standards IPMR DI-MGMT-81861.
  • Organize a production schedule daily and ensure that every output (level) is recorded appropriately in the correct system.
  • Be able to integrate CSV to feed the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Refine messaging strategies and collaborate with key stakeholders.
  • Be able to implement early EVMS practices.
  • Make sure schedules are given to employees in a timely fashion and that any distortions in the company’s schedule are accounted for always.
  • Understand and Interpret Contract changes as well as impacts to project/program schedules.
  • Conduct strategic modeling and “what-if” scenario planning to support decision-making and inform investment and program priorities.
  • Help build a resource forecast to provide to leadership.
  • Maintain different reporting systems to make sure that all forms of documentation are accurate and also timely, and be prepared to deliver presentations or brief status.
