We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our operations team and help deliver the bank of the future. You will have the opportunity to learn new things and make a direct contribution to the success of our company.
You will work among high-performing engineering, design, and product teams using technology to build innovative, user-centric solutions to challenging problems. You will be charged with learning new processes and partnering with these teams to deliver new ideas and solutions to assist in automating processes to improve efficiency and controls across our bank.
What you’ll be doing
- Gather, consolidate, organize, analyze, and clearly document complex business and technology-related information
- Document business requirements; Agile technology journeys; epics and stories; business process flows; use and test cases; business and operational metrics; research data; etc
- See patterns and provide insights from collected, documented, analyzed, and projected information, and articulate that information so that it is valuable and actionable
- Implement changes to documented requirements, processes, procedures, test plans, documents, etc
- Define methods, tools, and templates to organize and present information
- Build strong working relationships with Varo staff and 3rd party partners
- Provide excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Be self-motivated, decisive, and adapt to change and competing demands
- Drive automation through system integration and Robotic Process Automation, (RPA)
You’ll bring the following required skills and experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- 1+ years of experience in Back Office, Disputes, or Fraud functions strongly preferred
- Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to articulate complex problems succinctly
- Strong interpersonal skills, including positivity and collaboration
- Ability to facilitate individual and group conversations for the purpose of gathering information
- Knowledge of information technology for enterprises and customer-facing products or services
- Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile development methods
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience with office tools such as Microsoft Office and Google G Suite
