What is the role?

We are excited to offer a summer internship opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven accounting and finance individual interested in gaining real-world, startup experience in the fast-growing, programmatic out-of-home advertising industry.

As an accounting and finance intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our finance team and gain valuable insights into the inner workings of our company’s financial operations. You will be responsible for supporting various accounting and financial tasks, such as reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and performing special projects as they arise.

In addition to working with our finance team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other teams across the company and gain exposure to the programmatic advertising industry as a whole. You will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals, participate in team meetings, and contribute to projects that impact our business.

We are looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses excellent communication skills. A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are also essential qualities for success in this role.

This role can be either hybrid (our office is located in NYC) or remote.

Here are some qualifications that may be required or preferred for an accounting and finance internship:

• Currently pursuing (or recently earned) a degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
• Strong academic record 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business intelligence tools; familiarity with collaborative tools such as Google Sheets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
• Previous accounting or finance experience (such as coursework, internships, or part-time work) may be preferred, but not required

Compensation:

For those based in New York City, the expected compensation for this role at time of hire is a salary range of $15-20 per hours.  Exact compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate’s experience and skills relative to internal peers  as well as market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position and the location of the candidate. A candidate’s compensation will be based on the role and level they are hired for, which may be different than the role they applied for.
