Engineer Infosec

Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as an Engineer INFOSEC in support of the Army Project Director Sensors-Aerial intelligence (PD SAI). This position is currently on-site. Other duties may be assigned to support client and contract deliverables.

This position is pending funding.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as Working Leader to lower-grade personnel and is considered an expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements. 

• Lead a team in providing technical  expertise in system security requirements, designs security architecture and develops a security design for program platforms. 

• Develop System Engineering plans, and procedures in accordance with DoD, Army, industry and academia best practices. 

• Plan, coordinate, and integrate all systems engineering tasks adhering to a disciplined systems engineering process a throughout all acquisition phases of the assigned subsystem, system or system of systems. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• IAT level II certification required.

• Industry recognized security certification, familiarity with DoD INFOSEC systems, policies, and procedures.

• Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical discipline is required.

• Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education level (i.e. 4 ADDITIONAL years in lieu of a Master’s/8 ADDITIONAL years if no degree.  

• A PhD in a related field may be substituted for an additional two (2) years of experience.

• A minimum of fifteen (15) years experience,  at least five (5) must be specialized experience including system security analysis and implementation; design assurance or testing for INFOSEC products and systems; integration or testing for INFOSEC products and systems is required.

• Ability to talk and interact with people proactively. 

• Critical thinker.

• Program Management (PM) awareness.

• Able to move fast and adjust quickly.

• Able to multitask.

• Clearance: TOP SECRET//SCI clearance required for this position. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a TOP SECRET//SCI Secret Government Clearance.
