Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Management or Business Administration
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a multi-cultural and diverse team
  • Significant operations experience in a leadership role across various functions—including Front Office/Reception, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and Activities
  • An understanding of remote living considerations
Responsibilities
  • Ensure all colleagues receive exceptional service, professional attention, and personal recognition
  • Inspire and motivate your team to provide a unique experience
  • Collaborate with department managers to maintain high service standards and drive continuous improvement
  • Engage with colleagues upon arrival, address complaints, seek feedback, and build relationships
  • Conduct regular inspections of accommodations and public areas to identify and resolve deficiencies
  • Plan staffing needs, assign work, and set performance and development goals
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to help your team improve
  • Educate staff on compliance with laws and safety regulations and ensure they have the right tools and training
  • Work with Village Management to ensure appropriate room allocations for new colleagues and maintain accurate personnel records
  • Manage budgets for room inventory, linen, and staffing costs
  • Handle financial reporting and implement strategies to maximize revenue across Rooms, F&B, and Activities
  • Ensure that financial transactions are secure, and that payroll and inventory processes are handled efficiently
  • Promote and facilitate health and wellbeing initiatives
