  • Comfortable spending about 50% of your time diving deep into the technical details of our customers’ APIs and SDKs.
  • Familiar with concepts like data serialization/deserialization, OAuth, authentication mechanisms, and webhook data payloads.
  • Comfortable contributing to production code, working in a CLI environment, and fluent in at least one of TypeScript, Golang, or Python.
  • High degree of empathy for customers.
  • Excellent communication and customer management skills — whether it's via IRC, Slack, Discord, video or anything else.
  • Ability to use customer learnings to influence the product roadmap and craft high-impact docs, usage guides, and examples.
  • Understanding that customer support can be critical differentiator and not a chore.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities
  • Bridge the gap between engineering and the developer community, ensuring that users have an exceptional experience with a focus on technical support, improving tools, and documentation.
  • Primary owner of technical outcomes, working closely with developers to resolve issues, troubleshoot bugs, and ensure a smooth, joyful experience with our products.
  • Take the lead on crafting, updating, and refining documentation, tutorials, and guides, ensuring developers can easily access the information they need to use our products effectively.
  • Act as a technical liaison between our developers and internal engineering teams, providing critical feedback to influence product development and prioritize features that matter most to our customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build tools (e.g., Retool applications) that enable us to serve our customers more effectively.
  • Assist with feature releases, handle customer communications, and manage migrations to ensure smooth transitions and continued customer satisfaction.
  • Directly contribute to product development by adding new features, fixing bugs, and working on other projects that directly impact the customer experience.
