CharterUP launches electric charter bus programme

CharterUP launches electric charter bus programme. CharterUP has begun electric vehicle operations in Southern California using Temsa TS 45E coaches and AI-powered fleet management * February 11, 2026 CharterUP has launched an electric vehicle programme in Southern California, deploying battery electric coaches across high-demand markets including Anaheim, Irvine, Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara. The firm describes the deployment, which began in autumn 2025, as the largest electric vehicle-powered fleet in the private charter bus market. The programme uses the Temsa TS 45E electric coach and is operated in partnership with regional bus operators. CharterUP said its artificial intelligence-powered platform manages scheduling, dispatch, fleet tracking, and utilisation, providing operators with real-time data on vehicle locations and battery status. During the deployment, the company collected data on energy consumption, charging behaviour, route efficiency, and vehicle utilisation. Results confirmed that a single electric vehicle can support a full 10-hour shift, according to CharterUP. In a statement, Armir Harris, Chief Executive, said: "This program provides real proof of what electric fleets can do in high-demand environments. What we are building next will set a new standard for how group transportation is delivered in Southern California and the rest of the country." CharterUP said it plans to expand electric vehicle operations throughout Southern California.
