Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, public policy, economics, environmental science, transportation/civil engineering, or related subjects.
  • 12+ years of experience driving multi-modal long-range transportation planning projects.
  • 5+ years of experience working on state, regional, or local transportation plans or policy issues, preferably in the Southeast (e.g., Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina) or Mid-Atlantic (e.g., Maryland, DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York)
  • 3+ years of experience within a consulting environment leading transportation relevant new business development activity.
Responsibilities
  • Will lead statewide, regional, and local transportation planning projects with a focus on the Southeastern/Mid-Atlantic United States, as well as national-level research projects and selected planning studies in other regions of the U.S.
  • Leading development of new business opportunities and proposals with a focus on state and local clients.
  • Identifying industry trends and working closely with the division senior leadership to position ICF for long-term growth.
  • Leading the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high-quality products and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff.
  • Managing task or project schedules and budgets.
  • Facilitating workshops and other outreach activities.
