Requirements
  • Prior experience processing FATCA and Common Reporting Standard requirements in a Transfer Agency environment is required.
  • Ten or more years of relevant experience are required.
  • Working knowledge of Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act and Common Reporting Standard regulations is required.
  • Understanding and reviewing United States tax forms, including W-9, W-8BEN, W-8IMY, W-8BEN-E, Chapter 3 status, withholding statements, and Common Reporting Standard self-certification forms is required.
  • Ability to understand XML schemas and prepare and review reports before submission is required.
  • Familiarity with Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act and Common Reporting Standard XML upload procedures is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications is required.
  • Ability to coordinate with team members to ensure effective delivery of services to internal and external clients is required.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and keep processes and procedures updated to reflect regulatory compliance requirements is required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple tasks are required.
  • Ability to work any shift according to business needs is required.
Responsibilities
  • Act as a tax and information-reporting specialist executing Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act and Common Reporting Standard advisory systems.
  • Execute tax-information reporting processes for products issued by the business.
  • Migrate work into the centralized hub.
  • Develop standardized processes and implement procedures to ensure compliance with information-reporting and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act requirements.
  • Assist with process changes and development of new processes.
  • Participate in robotic process automation initiatives.
  • Validate tax forms for Common Reporting Standard and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act operations and reporting.
  • Identify and participate in process reengineering and redesign to improve controls, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Work with teams across global locations to fulfill entities’ Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act and Common Reporting Standard regulatory requirements.
  • Support Internal Revenue Service, internal, and special audits.
  • Support technology projects from a technical tax perspective.
  • Review, validate, and process W-8 and W-9 tax forms and related documentation according to Internal Revenue Service and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act regulations.
  • Review written tax policies and procedures, research issues, and respond to inquiries from operational areas.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the quality performance of associates and senior associates.
  • Report and escalate quality, production, and system-related issues.

Apex Group and Truleum launch Dubai's first regulated tokenised private markets fund

Apex Group and Truleum Venture Partners have launched Truleum Fund I LP, a Dubai International Finance Centre-domiciled private markets fund regulated by the Dubai Finance Services Authority. The fund issues digitally native units within a regulated framework using Tokeny technology. The structure combines institutional governance with digital issuance architecture, embedding compliance controls, transfer restrictions and investor eligibility directly within the asset layer. The firms say this approach enhances transparency and operational efficiency whilst maintaining regulatory alignment. Naveed Zamir Yasir, Apex Group's Dubai country head, said the launch reflects an industry shift towards tokenised structures built on strong governance. Dolly Ramaiya, founder of Truleum Venture Partners, described the fund as a foundational milestone for modernising private market infrastructure through fund and asset tokenisation.
