Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with sales engineering, application engineering, or product management in the energy sector.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience developing or commercializing energy products, including solar, energy storage, EV charging, or other power equipment products.
  • Ability to quickly grasp product capabilities and constraints, and effectively communicate to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with hardware OEMs on vendor qualification and co-development
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to synthesize large qualitative and quantitative information from market research, sales feedback, and customer conversations into actionable product insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute parallel projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and interconnection process of DERs
  • Deep passion for home electrification, sustainable energy, and user-centric designs.
  • Able to work onsite most working days.
Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain hardware product roadmaps.
  • Present product value propositions, differentiations, and benefits effectively to end customers, installers, and internal teams.
  • Drive implementation of key product technical documentation (datasheet, installation manuals and checklists, product training, independent engineering reports, etc.).
  • Gather and synthesize industry trends, market intelligence, and competitor benchmarking data.
  • Define and track performance criteria for new product pilots.
  • Provide sales engineering support throughout pre-sales, design and deployment of Lunar hardware into new and complex applications and markets.
  • Drive hardware product kitting to optimize customer experience.
