Steely is looking for a like-minded individual to join our team as a DSP Engineer.

Candidates must be able to hold and maintain a security clearance, therefore U.S. citizenship is required. 

Responsibilities

• Communications systems, associated algorithms, and their design, including an understanding ofRF filters, signal modulation/demodulation, channel equalization/channel estimation, channelcoding (FEC), RF signal acquisition and recovery, RF frequency control (AFC), and RF gain control(AGC)
• Mixed signal requirements including quantization and algorithm fixed point implementations.
• MATLAB, Python, or X-MIDAS tools used for algorithm design / validation and test vector generationVivado design and simulation tools for FPGA architecture design and HDL implementation of signal processing algorithms

Qualifications

• 5 years+ experience designing FPGA solutions
• BS Electrical Engineering or similar field, Master’s degree preferred
• Embedded software development and interfacing with FPGAs in tightly coupled processorconfigurations (such as Zynq MPSoCs / RFSoCs)
• Hardware peripheral programming and control for both digital and analog devices
• FPGA build scripts using TCL/Make within virtualized environments such as Docker

Compensation

We believe in paying fairly and competitively based on the value each team member brings to the role. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, location, and market data. The anticipated salary range for this position is $175,000 - $195,000 annually.
