Responsibilities
  • Create and design various materials for digital and print according to requirements.
  • Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services.
  • Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients or supervisors and making necessary changes.
  • Combine hand-drawing and painting with digital media to create complete illustrations.
  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.
  • Refine designs with illustration software.
  • Use various colors, graphics and effects to better visualize each concept.
  • Format images using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Collaborate with the team to come up with new ideas.
  • Key information into computer equipment to create layouts for client or supervisor.
  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
  • Photograph layouts, using camera, to make layout prints for supervisors or clients.
  • Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.
  • Utilize programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat.
  • Use HTML and CSS.
