  • A minimum of four years of experience as a project planning and control advisor (PCO) is required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in information technology is required.
  • Within the last five years, candidates must have completed at least 480 person-days as a project planning and control advisor (PCO), across no more than three assignments. Each assignment must be part of a project of at least 1,100 person-days, delivered in an organizational context with matrix planning and team organization, within an agile information technology project environment.
  • A minimum of two years of experience supporting users of management tools, such as project plans, dashboards, and registers, is required.
  • At least one year of experience applying project planning, monitoring, and control techniques based on earned value, variance analysis, and schedule and cost performance indicators is required.
  • At least two years of experience using Microsoft Project, including one year in an Enterprise Project Management or Project Server environment, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop project plans, including their structure and activity breakdown, in collaboration with project and operations managers, in accordance with established organizational methods, processes, and practices, authorized timelines and budgets, organizational developments, and project or administrative-unit changes, using systems including Microsoft Project, the enterprise project management solution, and Azure DevOps.
  • Maintain, update, and monitor plans, activities, and assignments.
  • Monitor the production and approval of effort allocated to plans, produce related reports, and support involved stakeholders as needed.
  • Contribute to monitoring purchase orders and fixed-price packages.
  • Reconcile financial data with data recorded in the organization's accounting systems and correct discrepancies when necessary.
  • Close projects and financial years for administrative units.
  • Monitor the accountability-reporting calendar, perform related activities, and produce required reports.
  • Produce dashboards, project and operations performance and management indicators, and related supporting documentation.
  • Monitor, adjust, and produce financial data related to projects and administrative units.
  • Establish budget forecasts for projects and administrative units.
  • Identify and justify budget variances.
