Requirements
  • An Associate’s Degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Technology, or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant training or curriculum development experience.
  • Experience with AI-assisted tools for instructional design and content development.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience across all phases of the Instructional Systems Design process, using ADDIE or similar methodologies.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Adhere to policies and procedures outlined in CENSECFORINST 1540.1, CENSECFORINST 1540.4, and NAVEDTRA 142.
  • Develop Training Project Plans to guide curriculum development efforts.
  • Conduct Job Duty Task Analysis to develop Course Training Task Lists.
  • Develop Training Course Control Documents, including Curriculum Outlines of Instruction, Terminal and Enabling Objectives, Course Master Schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Develop lesson plans, student guides, and instructional materials.
  • Create AI-assisted testing materials, including KTAG, PTAG, and a Master Test Bank.
  • Design instructional strategies, sequencing, and learning relationships.
  • Develop measurable learning objectives aligned with NAVEDTRA standards.
  • Support Front-End Analysis, Business Case Analysis, and Training Requirements Reviews.
  • Develop traceability matrices linking Job Duty Task Analysis outputs to learning objectives.
  • Identify training gaps and redundancies.
  • Participate in pilot courses, evaluations, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Develop multimedia training products, including eLearning, computer-based training, job aids, and presentations.
  • Create storyboards and instructional media design packages.
  • Support development of interactive and digital learning solutions.
  • Use AI tools for content drafting, data analysis, curriculum validation, and editing for clarity, compliance, and consistency.
  • Provide SharePoint user support, training, and content management guidance.
  • Assist with workflow automation using Power Automate.
  • Support integration with Microsoft Office tools and enterprise systems.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, access control, and records management policies.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews.
  • Provide technical and administrative support as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with SharePoint development and administration.
  • Proficiency with Power Automate.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing tools, including Premiere and After Effects.
