Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering and software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling an engineering practice or department, ideally within an AWS-focused services company.
  • Proven experience leading and delivering large (multi-million dollar) software projects.
  • Deep expertise in AWS services, architectures, and best practices.
  • Deep expertise in software development patterns, architectures, and best practices.
  • Strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients across various industries.
  • Experience working with cross-practice teams (talent, sales, marketing, operations etc).
  • Experience building, delivering, and using GenAI products and solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Take part in Defining and executing the strategic vision for the Cloud Native Applications Practice, ensuring alignment with company objectives and AWS best practices.
  • Establish and promote industry-leading methodologies, frameworks, and architectures for cloud-native solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 50+ software engineers, architects, and consultants, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Oversee the successful execution of customer engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Strengthen our collaboration with AWS, leveraging latest technologies and programs to enhance our service offerings.
  • Support pre-sales efforts, contribute to go-to-market strategies, and help drive revenue growth by aligning technical capabilities with business opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, drive innovation within the practice, and represent the company in conferences, webinars, and AWS-related events.
  • Drive the development and implementation of AI-powered solutions both internally and for our customers.
