Requirements
  • Typically, a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Over two (2) years’ experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are needed to work effectively with other IT professionals.
  • Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Terraform).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site; relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.
Responsibilities
  • Enhance performance and cost-efficiency by monitoring and optimizing cloud resources.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues.
  • Participate in the evaluation and adoption of emerging cloud technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to cloud governance policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications
  • Beneficial Knowledge Areas: Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Monitoring and Alerting, Azure Policy, Azure DevOps, Cloud Cost Analysis Tooling, and FinOps.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, CompTIA ) are a plus.
