  • Professional experience in sustainability consulting, management consulting, carbon removal, climate change mitigation, or a related field, preferably working with high-profile clients, including publicly-traded companies.
  • A degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as environmental science, agronomy, forestry, land use economics, or a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree in one of these fields and equivalent additional experience, advanced degree preferred.
  • Significant experience developing executive-level presentations (using Google Slides or PowerPoint), briefing memos, and other materials with clear narratives, along with writing associated talking points.
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management, including scope of work development and customer discovery.

Responsibilities
  • Advise and consult with clients on carbon management and nature-based sustainability strategies, considering their unique business objectives, industry regulations, and market dynamics.

Source // Naftogaz Group July 21, 2026 BY Naftogaz Group Naftogaz Group signed a memorandum of cooperation with C-Questra Poland Sp. z o.o. during the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 to develop a pilot cross-border carbon capture and storage (CCS) project between Ukraine and Poland. The agreement, one of 12 signed by Naftogaz at the conference, focuses on capturing carbon dioxide from industrial facilities, transporting it across the border and permanently storing it in suitable geological formations. The initiative aims to support industrial decarbonization while strengthening energy cooperation between the two countries. CCS technology captures CO[2] emissions and stores them deep underground, including in depleted oil and gas fields that can be repurposed for long-term sequestration. Similar projects are already operating in countries including Norway, Iceland and the Netherlands. "This cooperation is designed to turn Poland and Ukraine's industrial and geological complementarities into a practical decarbonization corridor," said Walid Sinno, CEO of C-Questra. "Our aim is to help structure a bankable pilot that can demonstrate how captured CO[2] can be transported and permanently stored in suitable geological formations." Carbon Direct has released a framework for sourcing agricultural residues as feedstock for carbon dioxide removal projects, developed in collaboration with Microsoft and Stripe. The guide addresses sustainable biomass sourcing as biomass-based CDR pathways comprised over 95% of high-durability CDR contracted in 2025. The framework provides guidelines for sourcing agricultural residues like corn stover, wheat straw and rice husks whilst protecting communities and ecosystems. It is designed for global application across varied governance systems, land tenure arrangements and data availability. The guide establishes principles for responsible sourcing to help developers and buyers make decisions that balance carbon removal with ecological and social considerations. Carbon Direct intends to update the framework as science and market conditions evolve, building on previous forest biomass guidance.

Carbon Direct and Arca have announced a collaboration to commercialise Arca's Industrial Mineralization carbon dioxide removal technology. The system accelerates carbon mineralization in alkaline mine waste, turning it into a scalable CDR solution that can store CO₂ as stable minerals for over 10,000 years. Arca completed an 18-month pilot with BHP that successfully removed net CO₂ at an active mining site and has secured agreements with Microsoft for nearly 300,000 tonnes of CDR credits over 10 years. The company is now deploying the technology at additional locations, including Western Australia's Goldfields region. Photo: CURA March 18, 2026 CURA Climate Inc. and Grand Forks Concrete Ltd. have announced a strategic partnership to deploy a pilot-scale demonstration plant and a first-of-kind commercial facility that converts agricultural spent lime into low-carbon cement and agricultural co-products. Under a memorandum of understanding, the two companies will execute a three-phase program - covering feasibility assessment, pilot demonstration and commercial deployment - using CURA's patent-pending electrochemical process, which uses electricity and water rather than heat and fuel to process materials. The technology upgrades spent lime waste into low-carbon cement and agricultural products by selectively extracting high-value components and removing impurities. For Grand Forks Concrete, a precast concrete manufacturer in western Canada, the partnership provides access to locally sourced, low-carbon cement that integrates into existing manufacturing operations without requiring changes to downstream production. The companies say the commercial facility, if realized, would be the first broadly applicable low-carbon cement solution capable of integrating into existing construction supply chains at scale. The partnership is structured in three phases, beginning with laboratory and bench-scale testing, followed by a cost-shared pilot facility, and culminating in the formation of a joint venture to design and operate the commercial plant. No timeline for final investment or commissioning was announced.
