Requirements
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Ability to use parts department computer system
  • Good communication skills
  • Hold a valid driver license
  • One year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department
Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in identifying their automotive accessory and parts requirements
  • Assist the sales team members with customer parts and accessories questions
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries promptly, thoroughly, and accurately
  • Tend to the front counter parts area for customer inquiries and purchases
  • Work with and maintain relationships with vendors to locate and order parts
  • Order parts by phone, online and through the parts management system
  • Track incomplete order status (outstanding orders, backorders, and credits) and follow up as necessary
  • Keep parts department clean, orderly, and well-stocked
  • Follow Capital’s safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties deemed necessary by management
