Client Services Manager, Fortune Conferences

Position Overview
The Client Services Manager will have the responsibility for delivering a successful client experience for the Fortune Conferences division, both live and virtual corporate event clients. This position requires delivering against contracted benefits and event objectives, working as a sales representative proxy. The successful candidate will be a strong client relationship builder and will be able to navigate internal teams (production, programming, marketing, edit) to ensure optimal results for clients. This position must be able to communicate clearly with executives, ensuring their expectations are exceeded. Reports directly to the Director, Client Services.
Primary Responsibilities
· You will assume responsibility for the client experience upon confirmation of the sponsorship sale through to onsite execution and post-event wrap up for clients, often times working consecutive years with the same clients as they renew partnerships
· In your role, you are representing sales as you work with clients, and you are the primary liaison between the sponsor and the programming/production team
· Pre-conference
o Ensure all client contract benefits are successfully delivered, working with client, your sales representative and the conference production internal teams to fulfill benefits properly and on time
o Ability to think strategically, grasping client key messages and priorities, enabling tailored and effective support
o Maintaining a clear and consistent dialogue with the sales representative to make sure the communication with clients meets their expectations
o Handle event registrations and communications with client executives and non-executives
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders
o Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and their concerns in a timeline manner
o Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of client benefits and expectations
o Develop/enhance and execute custom activation as outlined in contract
o Provide internal updates via weekly status report
· On-site
o Dedicated onsite point person for client executives, ensuring all expectations are met
o Communicate on behalf of client executives, as needed
o Assist with client executives’ scheduling, including booking meetings
o Manage all client-related on-site programs and deliverables
o Manage on-site client relations
o Ensure client executives’ experiences as speakers and/or participants are positive
o Support overall Fortune Conferences sales team onsite as needed
· Post-conference
o Conduct post event reviews with client and sales
o Support the sales team by identifying opportunities for renewing or upselling additional services to enhance client experiences
Professional/Personal Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in corporate sponsorship management in a live/virtual event setting
· Ability to travel domestically and globally
· Creative mind-set with exceptional attention to detail and great organizational and time management skills
· Excellent client services experience – comfortable interacting with high-level executives
· Strong communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively across functions and departments
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Location: NYC - Hybrid. Successful candidates must live a commutable distance from our Lower Manhattan headquarters a minimum of 4 days a week.
Compensation:
- $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 inclusive of base salary and a discretionary annual bonus.
