Requirements
  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in server system development, validation, or production-related roles.
  • Strong understanding of server architecture and hardware, including: CPU, motherboard, memory, storage, networking, GPU

Responsibilities
  • System Development & Lifecycle Ownership: Partner with Product Managers to define system specifications, configurations, and feature requirements.
  • System Development & Lifecycle Ownership: Participate in and support the full system development lifecycle, from concept and design through launch, production, and end-of-life (EOL).
  • System Development & Lifecycle Ownership: Ensure system deliverables meet quality, schedule, and performance targets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Component Management, Sales, Manufacturing, and Lab teams to ensure cohesive system development and execution.

Supermicro completes independent investigation into export control violations, finds no senior management involvement

Supermicro has completed an independent investigation into a March 2026 indictment of three individuals formerly associated with the company for alleged export-control violations. The company was not named as a defendant or accused of wrongdoing. The investigation, led by independent board members and conducted by Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP with AlixPartners, found no evidence that current senior management knew of the alleged diversion scheme. US-based server and AI infrastructure company Super Micro Computer (Supermicro) is set to strengthen its presence in India with plans to establish its first manufacturing facility in the country. The company has committed an investment of ₹477 crore to set up an AI server manufacturing facility in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The investment was announced as part of the state's recent investment initiatives, with Supermicro signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government. The planned facility comes at a time when demand for AI servers, high-performance computing infrastructure and data centre technologies is expanding rapidly in India. Super Micro beats earnings despite revenue miss, issues $15B Q3 guidance above estimates

Super Micro reported second-quarter results that missed Wall Street's revenue expectations but exceeded earnings forecasts.
