Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a production environment as a Production Supervisor or in similar supply chain and procurement work.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to understand and comply with state and local regulations and internal company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to operate professionally and with integrity, including when handling confidential information.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively, exercise judgment, and proactively find alternative solutions.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule across all product categories.
  • Convert monthly production plans into detailed weekly and daily schedules by department and process.
  • Sequence production to optimize throughput, minimize changeovers, and protect quality outcomes.
  • Continuously adjust schedules for demand changes, labor availability, material constraints, quality assurance release timing, and regulatory limitations.
  • Establish and maintain routings, run rates, batch sizes, and standard hours for all unit operations.
  • Balance line loading across departments and shifts, including overtime planning and resource reallocation.
  • Integrate state and company regulatory requirements into production schedules, including batch-size limits, lot and genealogy dependencies, mandatory quality assurance holds and testing timelines, and quarantine or remediation scenarios.
  • Coordinate production timing with state traceability systems such as METRC or equivalent.
  • Schedule production around state inspections, audits, reporting deadlines, and compliance-driven process constraints.
  • Identify and mitigate compliance risks related to production timing or sequencing.
  • Monitor and manage work-in-progress and finished-goods inventory in alignment with shipment velocity and sales forecasts.
  • Build and maintain input allocations based on inventory availability, demand priorities, and shelf-life considerations.
  • Confirm material readiness before schedule release and escalate shortages or risks against the 90-day inventory schedule plan.
  • Partner with Inventory and Finance teams to reconcile available-for-sale inventory with state systems.
  • Review demand forecasts and identify mismatches between plans, capacity, and constraints.
  • Help leadership understand tradeoffs among service-level agreements, inventory, labor cost, and compliance risk.
  • Participate in sales and operations planning conversations as the production representative.
  • Own schedule changes and escalate issues when plans break.
  • Build and maintain capacity models by department and process.
  • Identify bottlenecks and work with Operations to improve flow.
  • Use historical performance to improve schedule accuracy and labor planning.
  • Translate staffing plans into executable schedules.
  • Coordinate schedules with Quality Assurance for sampling, testing turnaround, and release timing.
  • Adjust production plans when quality outcomes change.
  • Support continuous improvement related to yield, quality, and efficiency.
  • Own scheduling-related systems, including enterprise resource planning, traceability, and reporting tools.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling data across systems.
  • Track and report schedule adherence, plan attainment, inventory accuracy, changeover efficiency, production-efficiency impacts, and labor utilization.
  • Use data to identify issues early and drive improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Green Thumb opens 24th Florida cannabis dispensary in Port St. Lucie

Green Thumb Industries has opened its 24th Florida location, RISE Dispensary Port St. Lucie, on 22 August. The cannabis retail chain now operates over 120 stores across the United States. Located at 2092 NW Courtyard Circle, the dispensary serves medical patients on Florida's Treasure Coast. It operates from 9am to 8pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sundays. The store offers products from Green Thumb's portfolio, including RYTHM flower and concentrates, Dogwalkers pre-rolls, and Doctor Solomon's tinctures. A grand opening event is scheduled for 7 September. Following RISE's tradition, profits from the grand opening will benefit Arc of the Treasure Coast, a nonprofit supporting people with disabilities.

Green Thumb Industries opened its 13th Nevada location, RISE Dispensary Sparks, on 18 August. The store is located at 1530 S. Stanford Way, Suite B-6 #102, Sparks, NV 89431, near I-80 in South Sparks. RISE Dispensary Sparks will serve both medical patients and adult-use customers from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The shop offers home delivery on orders of $50 or more and stocks Green Thumb's product portfolio, including RYTHM premium flower, Dogwalkers pre-rolls, incredibles chocolates, Beboe gummies, and &Shine vapes. A grand opening event is scheduled for 5 September at 8 a.m. Following company tradition, first-day profits will benefit Food Bank of Northern Nevada. Green Thumb has operated in Nevada since 2016 and runs one production facility in Carson City and two in Las Vegas.

Green Thumb Industries' revenue grows 5% to $307M despite pricing pressures

Green Thumb Industries reported Q2 2026 revenue of $307 million, up 5% year-over-year, driven by strong performance in Minnesota, Connecticut, and Florida. The cannabis company posted normalised EBITDA of $84 million, representing a 28% margin. The firm generated $29 million in operating cash flow and held $284 million in cash at quarter end. GAAP net income reached $4.9 million, or $0.02 per share, reversing a prior-year loss. However, gross margin declined to 45% from 50% year-over-year, partly due to $17.5 million in brand licensing fees. Same-store sales fell 1% on a base of 103 stores. Green Thumb repurchased approximately 8 million shares during the quarter at an average price above $6. The company expects flat sequential revenue in Q3 due to ongoing pricing pressures.
