Requirements
  • 15+ years experience including both strategy development and sales
  • Experience as a Management / Strategy Consultant
  • Expertise working with or for one or more of the CSPs
  • Proven business Development skills
  • Experience with Technology Partnership Development / Management
  • Comfortable negotiating and driving win-win outcomes
  • Prior experience/comfort in an entrepreneurial setting (could be in a larger company)
Responsibilities
  • Develop strategy for strategic partnerships aiming at growing aggressively Indirect sales of IonQ systems, access and software in alignment with Go-To-Market, Engineering and Finance objectives / capacity
  • Identify and develop a network of strategic partners including: CSPs, OEMs, ISVs, Consulting Organizations, SIs and Re-sellers
  • Develop and implement a strategic partnership management and support structure: including Operations, Marketing, Customer Success and Sales support
  • Actively contribute to jumpstart/ accelerate the growth in Demand (Sales) for IonQ products in collaboration with our strategic partners
  • Develop a strategy and drive implementation of IonQ's global partnership expansion
  • Drive growth through a combination, of strategy, salesmanship, and negotiation/diplomacy skills
  • Structure and negotiate deals resulting in win-win outcomes to all parties involved
  • Some travel expected in the US but also around the world (40%) for partner, client meeting and IonQ conference activities
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in AI/ML/. Solid understanding of Quantum Computing is a plus
