Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience within project management, financial services or consulting.
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
  • Proficient presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating complex ideas and engaging senior-level audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with proven track record of managing and converting large data sets into business decision making tools.
  • Collaborative team player. Ability to work independently.
  • Experience communicating with senior managers and program sponsors
  • Superior attention to detail and diligence sufficient to withstand scrutiny of a senior audience.
  • Product knowledge of securities, debt, derivatives, and funding instruments a plus.
  • Can communicate complex topics to various stakeholders to drive delivery, and risk and issue resolution.
  • Abstract critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical skills: MS Visio, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
  • VBA, Power Bi, Digital Tools a plus.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Treasury Controllers (SMEs), CTI business unit managers, CTI trading desks, Product Control, Risk, Operations, and other areas to understand the key business problems while partnering with Technology to identify best-in-class, sustainable solutions.
  • Document project / workflow process, create Business Requirements, author Project plans, Charters, BRDs & Test Plans as required.
  • Succinctly present project updates including risks, issues and general progress at an executive level on a weekly basis.
  • Manage multiple streams of work to ensure timely delivery of key milestones, and tracking / resolution of risks & issues.
  • Identify, communicate and escalate risks, challenges or issues to senior management in a timely manner.
  • Present the project overview, status and issues internally or at a senior level.
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of the business impact of process design and technical contributions.
  • Regularly interacts with peers within the team and across various groups in Citi through project / program managing.
  • Chair weekly working group meetings with stakeholders across Treasury Controllers, CTI trading desks, product control, risk, operations & technology.
  • Clear summarizing key discussion points and action items upon meeting closure.
  • Work closely with the Program Manager to communicate project/workstream status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, to escalate and resolve on a timely basis.
  • Work closely with the Program Manager to manages the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
