Artemis offers an AI-native protection layer for cybersecurity. It provides an intelligent assistant for security operations, letting analysts use natural language to run analytics on endpoint data, get early warnings, and track threat actors across platforms. The platform automates repetitive tasks, delivers context-rich insights, and issues real-time alerts by applying behavioral intelligence to detect unusual activity, integrating with existing security tools and systems. Artemis differentiates itself through its AI-driven defense approach, focus on proactive risk mitigation, and combination of threat intelligence, endpoint security, and incident response capabilities led by founders with deep experience in leading security products. The company aims to help organizations defend against increasingly AI-powered threats and reduce cyber risk before threats escalate.

What believers are saying

  • April 15, 2026: Artemis closed $70 million from Felicis, First Round, Brightmind, and Theory.
  • Fortune reported Mercury, Wix, Lemonade, and Abnormal AI already use Artemis.
  • Artemis claims 94% faster detection-response and 15,000 terabytes of telemetry daily, supporting expansion.

What critics are saying

  • Crowded alternatives like Mave, Lumu, and BluSapphire compress pricing and shorten enterprise bakeoffs.
  • Artemis still lacks public proof of durable platform switching beyond early customers Mercury, Wix, Lemonade.
  • If incumbents bundle AI into Splunk, CrowdStrike, and Microsoft security stacks, Artemis becomes expendable.

What makes Artemis unique

  • April 15, 2026: Artemis rebuilt SIEM around AI-native, autonomous investigations and response.
  • June 4, 2026: Latio named Artemis Threat Detection Leader and SIEM Disruptor.
  • Artemis models each customer's environment, turning logs into attack stories and permanent detections.

Artemis emerges from stealth with $70M to rebuild SIEM with AI-native threat detection

Israeli cybersecurity startup Artemis has emerged from stealth with $70 million in funding to rebuild security information and event management around AI-native threat detection. The funding includes a $55 million Series A led by Felicis and a $15 million seed round co-led by First Round Capital and Brightmind. Artemis uses AI to continuously model enterprise environments, enabling autonomous investigations and threat detection rather than traditional anomaly flagging. The platform evaluates whether activity sequences align with normal operational behaviour, automatically generating detections and contextual threat narratives. Early enterprise customers have achieved a 94% reduction in mean time to detect and respond to security incidents. The platform currently analyses over 15,000 terabytes of telemetry daily. The company positions itself as an AI-native alternative to legacy SIEM platforms for cloud-scale environments.
