Requirements
- Experience with shipping, receiving, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory management in a retail environment.
- A track record of attention to detail in processing incoming and outgoing merchandise in the shipping and receiving area of the store.
- Championing the maintenance of store merchandise and maintaining stock levels.
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team to achieve store goals.
- Accountability to ensure that all merchandise is received, scanned, and tagged appropriately.
- The ability to work in the stock room within the retail store and collaborate with the in-store team.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to lift and move heavy boxes and remain on one's feet while bending, kneeling, and moving as required.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming merchandise from the warehouse, vendors, and other stores.
- Follow quality control and receiving processes for all incoming goods.
- Prepare products for placement on the sales floor in an organized and timely manner.
- Oversee outgoing merchandise shipments, including the accuracy of labels and packing slips.
- Ship return-to-vendor shipments to the warehouse in a timely manner.
- Support picking e-commerce and inter-store transfer orders while achieving targeted units-per-hour pick rates.
- Reply to omnichannel customer service emails.
- Ship rebalancing requests.
- Manage all in-transit, shipping, e-commerce, and inter-store transfer documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
- Maintain overall backroom standards, including merchandise and product maintenance.
- Support sales floor maintenance and ensure merchandise reflects brand standards.
- Assist with seasonal inventory preparations and counts.
- Support daily tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned by the Logistics Specialist.
- Support all logistics functions and assist with on-the-floor activities.
- Identify, report, and troubleshoot common errors and discrepancies.
- Adhere to Harry Rosen philosophies, processes, and standards.
- Deliver consistent and exceptional service through established standards.
- Provide cross-functional team support.
- Consistently demonstrate the organization's core values.
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a luxury environment, in a logistics role.
