Responsibilities
  • Oversees the end-to-end background investigations program, including monitoring and enhancing the program for adherence to multiple federal and state regulations regarding employment eligibility.
  • Responsible for managing the screening of new hires, contractors, and internal transfers across the enterprise to ensure security and safety of employees and facilities. Protects from regulatory fines and related litigation.
  • This role will involve partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to fulfill the duties of the job. Additional responsibilities include managing and mentoring investigators, as well as direct oversight of the team's quality and output.
  • Develops and coaches teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manages risk within the teams you oversee.
  • Develops, implements, manages, and enhances all aspects of the enterprise-wide Background Investigations Program, including policy, process and procedure management. Regulatory subject matter expert for employment eligibility, and representative for monitoring, testing, audits, and change management.
  • Manages, guides, and develops a team responsible for completing employment eligibility investigations. Effectively manages escalations.
  • Manages relationships including partnering and communicating with internal partners, external vendors, and other stakeholders.

  • Masters in Human Resources, Business Administration and Management or related
  • 6+ years in Human Resources, Compliance, Security, Risk Management, Investigations, experience supervising employees or related
  • J.D. Law
  • CPP, CFE
